Privacy Notice
How Synacraft uses your information and how to exercise your UK GDPR rights.
Who handles your information
Synacraft, led by D'Angelo Bailey in London, UK, handles personal information received through this website. Contact d'angelo@synacraft.com about privacy or your data. This notice covers our public website, enquiries and booking requests; specific client systems may have their own notices. For recruitment applications, we also receive your location, availability, experience and reasons for applying, and use these to assess your application and contact you about the role. We do not automatically add you to a future recruitment mailing list.
What we collect
When you contact us or book, we receive the details you provide: your name, email, optional telephone number, business information, message and chosen appointment. Website hosting also processes technical information needed to deliver and protect the service. Please do not send sensitive personal information or passwords through our forms or Friday.
Why we use it and our UK GDPR basis
We use enquiry and booking details to respond, discuss your project and take steps towards a contract at your request. We process client details to deliver agreed services, keep required financial records to meet legal obligations, and use limited technical information for our legitimate interests in running a secure website. Where consent is required for an optional activity, we request it separately. Submitting a form does not sign you up for marketing.
Service providers and international processing
Our hosting, database and communications providers process information to operate the website. Information you send to Friday is processed by the AI service providing its replies; do not include confidential or sensitive details. Providers may process information outside the UK. Where UK GDPR requires safeguards for a restricted transfer, appropriate contractual or other recognised safeguards must apply. We do not sell your personal information.
Retention
We keep information only for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, deliver services and meet applicable legal or accounting obligations. Retention depends on the purpose and any ongoing relationship; we have not specified a fixed enquiry retention period. You can ask what we hold and request deletion, subject to lawful record-keeping requirements.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, where applicable, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Email d'angelo@synacraft.com. We may need to verify your identity. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies and security
The website may use essential browser storage for functions such as sign-in and keeping the site usable. Non-essential tracking requires consent where the law requires it. We use access controls and encrypted connections, but no online service can promise absolute security. This notice may change when our services or processing change.
